Band Members: Roni Lee - Guitars Vocals Lynn Sorensen - Bass Vocals

Roni Lee began her career in Hollywood, CA as Lead Guitarist for Venus and the Razorblades; a rock band created by the legendary Kim Fowley.

Roni Lee, with Venus and the Razorblades, would team up with Van Halen as their opening act for a number of shows as well as the Motels, the Runaways, Devo, and many others. Van Halen later recorded another of Venus and the Razorblades' songs, "Young and Wild."

"I Want to Be Where the Boys Are," co-written by Roni Lee and Kim Fowley, became a regular part of the Runaways' live set. The song was included on the 1977 Live in Japan album. It went GOLD. "I Wanna Be Where the Boys Are" most recently has been featured in the 2010 Runaways biopic and sung by actress Kristen Stewart and in 2011, "I Wanna Be Where the Boys Are" was covered by punk band F-13 on a Runaways tribute disc.

Roni's vocals and guitar techniques span various genres. She has lent her talents on numerous recordings on gospel, funk and rock. Her current original rock project includes backup musicians that are over-the-top talented and amazing in their own right and her touring while focused mainly on the West Coast from the Northwest to San Diego and all point between, she also tours over-seas to entertain and rock the world!

In concert now, Roni Lee's voice is even more powerful and amazing. Her skills as a Lead Rock Guitarist are astronomical. Her energy on stage is captivating, seducing... She truly Plays Like A Girl!!!! LAUNCHING NEW ALBUM!!!

Just back from the Northwest, getting ready for some fun shows here in the South but also excited about writing and prepping for a new album with the Phenomenal Multi-Platinum Producer Warren Huart. We should begin production in May so watch for posts and blogs. I am very grateful for all the support on this wild music journey! Coming back full swing over the last few years has been a challenge and even a little scary at times but that's life and I couldn't have done this without my music friends!! MUAH!
